My Mother & Father In-law just surprised Clark and I from over 1,000 miles away with Popcorn, pretzels and peanuts! How about that?!

Somehow I get the feeling that sending gifts via the internet is going to be more of the “in” thing than EVER before! With the swine flu swarming the nation – I see DVD’s, Netflix Rentals, books, and other “stay-indoors” kind of gifts being more and more popular. It’s hard-times at its max for everyone this Holiday season, I wouldn’t doubt that a lot of people will be staying home rather than traveling for the Holidays. I know Clark and I have a good chance of staying in Cali this year.

This is why I created this list of Ideas for sending gifts long distance during the Holidays. We LOVED the surprise gift from our Parents, it was so unexpected, and SO unique! It made it so much fun to receive!

Here’s my list of ideas for you all, feel free to add your own ideas as a comment:

Goes towards a good cause, so not only are you giving your loved one a cute and pretty smell-good gift basket, but you're also helping others at the same time!

CUTE kids PJ's for Christmas! Perfect to open on Christmas morning and play around in for the rest of the day - and year! Cute gift from Grandma

Most everyone I know - loves music. So how can you go wrong with some tunes for Christmas?

I see you knocking at my door, but I don’t have what you want.

Months ago I added FlightlessBird.mp3 as a song to play on my blog. Didn’t think that one day you’d send THOUSANDS of angry – raging Twilight fans to come knocking HUNDREDS of times at my server door upset that I deleted the file that you wrongly linked to my site! Go buy it on Amazon, and upload it to your OWN SITE!

Give up the fight, there’s nothing to win!

BTW – I have the ability to see your IP, and I have a ban tool in my website that blocks you (in case you hadn’t noticed). So, FYI for all of you who are wondering why you can’t free-load off my bandwidth anymore, playing your favorite Twilight Song OVER & OVER again… IT’S GONE! Go away! Unless you want to READ my blog, please LEAVE my blog ALONE!

UPDATE: as of today 10/08/09, 11am PST there have been 4,118 attempts!!!!  How can I charge for these hits?

UPDATE: as of today 10/10/09, 11:40am  PST there have been 7, 283 attempts!!!! Seriously, if I charged .50cents per attempt! ….

Absolutely amazing. A note describing the video and inspiration behind the music, by the composer:

Reading a newspaper, I saw a picture of birds on the electric wires. I cut out the photo and decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes (no Photoshop edit). I knew it wasn’t the most original idea in the universe. I was just curious to hear what melody the birds were creating.
