Some believe that dancing around like the Indians, in wish for rain will bring rain…

Heard my story of how when I was their age, I once danced around on my trampoline and pretended I was doing a rain dance like an Indian. An hour later it rained for me. So they gave it a try:
And wouldn’t you know it. An hour later it rained for them too! ( no joke ) 
What do you believe? Any strange / cool things happen to you like that?

The thought of this makes me giggle…. how many times do you hear of a couple going out to dinner with their Apartment Landlord and his wife? Certainly I would have never thought that we would. But I must tell you, it was quite fun!!!
It all came about after our Landlord knocked on our door a few weeks back with a question about his camcorder. Clark is very handy with camera’s and so he decided that he would help our Landlord out by not only telling him his camcorder is no good (it was a cheap personal home recorder) – especially not for what they were doing. His wife was auditioning for Oprah’s show. Clark offered to use one of his HD Camera’s to record the audition tape for him. How kind, I know! ♥ 
So, after quite a few hours of this, they requested that we let them take us out for dinner. We went to an African Bar called Springbok. Clark got a ribeye steak and I got salmon fish ‘n chips. I am telling you – the food was AMAZING! We LOVED it!
We talked and talked and talked, laughed and told several stories. It was SO fun!
We are so lucky to have really kind and personable Landlords. It helps us feel safe and our Apartment that much more of a home.

Hero does this every time he sees Clark come into the room to talk to me. He just wants to be part of the conversation I suppose. We think it’s pretty cute because he’ll meow and meow until we look at him. He’s a good boy and stays at the very edge of the door. He knows he’s not allowed to waltz in – unlike Tiny who comes as far as the edge of my desk. She likes to push her limits.
