Hi there. My name is Russ…

My current favorite thing in the world is BUZZ! He’s cool…

I like all the other characters too, see? I have them all [on my head]…

One day I’m going to fly like Buzz…

But for now, I’m going to stay and play with Mommy and Daddy…

People say my smile is like Mommy’s…

… but that I look mostly like Daddy…

I like that. :)

Have you seen my brother?

He has the squishiest cheeks you ever saw…

He also has a pretty great smile!

A Night Out with Our Landlord

The thought of this makes me giggle…. how many times do you hear of a couple going out to dinner with their Apartment Landlord and his wife? Certainly I would have never thought that we would. But I must tell you, it was quite fun!!!

It all came about after our Landlord knocked on our door a few weeks back with a question about his camcorder. Clark is very handy with camera’s and so he decided that he would help our Landlord out by not only telling him his camcorder is no good (it was a cheap personal home recorder) – especially not for what they were doing. His wife was auditioning for Oprah’s show. Clark offered to use one of his HD Camera’s to record the audition tape for him. How kind, I know! ♥  :)

So, after quite a few hours of this, they requested that we let them take us out for dinner. We went to an African Bar called Springbok. Clark got a ribeye steak and I got salmon fish ‘n chips. I am telling you – the food was AMAZING! We LOVED it!

We talked and talked and talked, laughed and told several stories. It was SO fun!

We are so lucky to have really kind and personable Landlords. It helps us feel safe and our Apartment that much more of a home. :)
