Long Overdue Update: Topic – Forgiveness Leads to Miracles
21 Jan
The majority of what has been going on since we arrived back home from our Holiday trip has been A LOT of work! Everyone who knows me – knows I LOVE to blog, and to see me not blog, means I truly am VERY busy!
I would first like to list my New Years Resolutions, and then afterwards explain why I feel this year is different than any other year that I have lived. I feel this year to truly be a year of change and miracles…
- By the end of the year, successfully develop a sleeping habit of going to bed no later than 11pm and waking up at 6am
- Be diligent and strict on my Vegetarian/Pescatarian Diet. Limit only eating meat when eating over at someones house (basically whenever I do have control over the meal – or if its buffet and I have a choice – no meat (only fish) – no dairy.
- Weigh less than I do now by the end of the year
I feel this year is differnt from all other years, because I had an incredible experience right as the new year started (Jan 1). For reasons I feel are too sacred to share publicly, the result being the point, is that I am free of my fears – for real. My anxiety is gone, my spontaneous and adventurous me is back and better than ever! As with any gospel principle, the work never stops – I will always need to maintain my closeness to the spirit by nourishing it as well as my physical self so I can remain strong and confident.
What I learned from the miracle that the experience was is that anything is possible with enough faith and trust in the Lord, as well as in yourself. I learned that one of the keys is to be in the service of others, think of what’s in it for them rather than what’s in it for you and anything you might be worried about, God will take care of. He will bless us and take care of us if we are doing His work. I have learned to see every experience (even the neg. ones) as an opportunity to grow stronger and love more. Learn to love others, as well as myself.
I am so happy. So blessed in my life, with a wonderful husband, family and friends. I have an amazing job, life is perfect. I feel this year is so different than any other year that I have lived, because I feel closer to the Lord, Heaven than ever. I feel 100% confident, happy, and safe and its an incredible feeling.
Knowing that I feel this way, also brings reality into view that I am a delicious target for Satan, and I will need to work very hard to protect my state of mind. Like a mother protects her young, I will never give up.

Way to go Becky! I’m so glad to hear you’re feeling so great and so happy these days!!
Your post made me think of this passage from Philippians 4:4-7 – 4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
