Presents! A lot of kids & adults = a lot of presents. The tradition began many years ago on a farm in Alberta Canada, a family of 16, 14 of them were children. The only time of the year these children received clothes was Christmas day. Along with the clothes they received a few toys they had wished for over the recent year. Thus the tradition developed that the Cooper family saved their money all year long, made a list of fun /or needed things they would love to give – and eagerly awaited the end of the year to celebrate the birth of Christ and preparation for a new year!
