Absent Minded

She is lost in thought.

This lost little girl, roaming the streets

Absent minded – swimming deep against the current

so weak when she tries to breathe…

Where have you been

We have so much to tell you

Smile when the sun hits your eyes

or you’ll be blind to beauty forever…

So much joy surrounds her

this lost beauty among all the people

Decay in her mind, like moss intermingled with the skin of the tree

So much a part of her, growing more wild with the pouring rain…

Absent to the concerns of the world

Absent to her own thoughts

She is finally free of the clutter

She is free to be saved.
