I worry that this is going to be a large pile of cheese, but it’s hard to tell with the quality. My only issues with Twilight were the acting and lines that came out forced and cheesey that Hardwicke could’ve remedied and I had hoped that Chris would’ve corrected. I knew as soon as I saw the trailer that he had already let a few things slip, I just hope it’s not as many.
As long as they iron it out in time for the feathers, I’ll deal.

It does look good, I can’t wait til November. I just finished reading this one a few weeks ago, I’ll probably wait til the next one comes out on paperback to read it.
I agree im getting into Breaking Dawn as we speak and I really do enjoy the story… I’m super excited for the movie(s) but then again I dont want to go and sit there listening to all the screaming girls ruin the movie. Im not even so sure that all these young girls should be reading these books… I know of 10 and 11 year-olds reading this and I don’t believe all the content is appropriate for them (even being a super-natural/magical story line).
I was the same way. I didn’t read the Twilight series until a year after it was popular. Then I read all 4 books in less than 2 weeks.
The hype is fun, I agree! It’s comforting knowing I’m not the only adult woman — slightly obsessed with the idea of [good] vampires & warewolves
No kidding. When my husband and I went to go see Twilight – there were 2 14ish girls sitting behind us LITERALLY hyperventilating over every scene Edward entered or said something “cute”. Then when he and Bella kissed, they LITERALLY started crying their eyes out saying “That should be ME! Edward, KISS ME!” They didn’t do us the courtesy of whispering, they tried their hardest to let Edward know they were watching. Sheesh! Kinda creepy when people around you sincerely can’t tell when they’re in reality, lol!
I hope it’s not a pile of cheese. I’m focusing on the fact that they had extra cash for this movie: added to the extra practice in acting, better Director and quality imaging, editing and special effects. Did you watch the DVD special features with the director of Twilight? I think that revealed why the Twilight movie was slightly “off” if you catch my drift
Let’s just hope Chris is more ‘with it’ in Directing and that will make all the difference for this movie! [crossing fingers]
