I have decided to do a review on Limehouse Veterinary Clinic, (a holistic veterinary clinic) because it is well deserved.
When I first moved to Los Angeles, I came from a background of always having animals around. At home our cats were outdoors, but living in the city now – and my husband and I adopting 2 cats – it was new to me to keep them indoors and learn all there is to know about raising a happy healthy cat inside.
When I went to take my baby kittens to the local vet, they told me I had to give them all these shots. It was a HUGE list. Not just 1 time, but I had to get boosters. That seemed like A LOT of medicine for such a little guy. For some reason, I didn’t feel right about injecting all those chemicals into my newly adopted ‘baby’. I can’t even count how many cats my family had over my living years at home (there were A LOT) and NONE of them ever got sick, and they never had those shots. We always fed them right, gave them lots of love… So I searched out an alternative route.
This is when I came across Limehouse Veterinary Clinic. They have a long history of success and happy clients.
My experience right from the start was a positive one. My appointment was on my clock and I felt comfortable approaching them with any question and concern, and I never once felt rushed – which was my experience with the local veterinary clinics’ “in and out” attitude. I love the ‘earthy’ feel of the clinic, the happy receptionist and the other clients who came and went through the waiting area who just added to the already happy environment which is Limehouse Veterinary Clinic. They have answered every question I have ever had with ease, and everything they have ever suggested to me or shared with me has worked and has helped educate me better on how to take care of my Cats on my own (which is nice).
My Cats are healthy, happy and full of life. I see my Vet’s like family, as they are always always willing to answer a quick question over the phone or in person with a quick visit. My Cat Hero had an upset stomach and loose stool. I was worried, but they quickly put my mind at ease in giving me a suggestion to do a natural cleanse with rice and meat for 1 week. If he still had an upset stomach to bring him right in. The cleanse did the trick and I didn’t have to put him on antibiotics. I REALLY appreciate their ‘natural’ approach to [Holistic] medicine, and medicating only when necessary (which are far more mild medicines if they do)- rather than medicate from the very start because it’s easier – which is what the local vet clinics do.
Moral of the story in this review. If you’re looking for the best animal care for your Dog or Cat (or any other animal you may have), and you want a trustworthy and knowledgeable vet for your Pets – and you live in the Los Angeles area – Limehouse Veterinary Clinic is the way to go. They get my vote!
If you’re searching out reviews (I recommend checking out Yelp’s Reviews on Limehouse Veterinary Clinic), keep in mind and get to know the person who you’re seeking ‘advise’ from if they have a profile/blog/website available to their name. Just my 2 cents…
