Celebrating The Birth of Me

My Mom came into town to celebrate a very vivid and painful 36 hours of labor – 25 years ago.

It’s been a lot of fun having her in town this week! So far we have played a lot of games, have done some shopping & have taken a trip down to Venice Beach. :) We ended the night eating at Malibu Seafood and going home and playing Monopoly.

I caught my Mom in mid-speech telling me to take a picture of her bracelets from Venice

I can’t believe my Mom will be 70 next year. She looks SO GOOD! This gives me a lot of peace about growing older – because lately I’ve been slightly irritated that I keep encountering people who think I look not a day older than 17. Hello! I’m now 25 people -  I know, I know – be grateful. I am, because look at that woman! She’s a year away from the 7-0!  :D That means I’ll still be looking good when I reach her age ;) Thanks for the great genes Mom! My Dad looks good too for his age, so I’m doubly secured for great youthful looks for life. :D

So, what we have left to do before she leaves, is to go out to eat at a Sushi Restaurant. SO EXCITED for Sushi!

Thank you Mom for enduring 36 hours of pain to bring me into this Family. For giving me so many wonderful brother’s and sisters. I know in Heaven I chose you to be my Mom, I chose Dad – and to be a part of a big pack of awesome brother’s and sister’s. I feel loved – and that means a lot to me. :) ♥ It’s meant a lot to me the past few days that you came out to just visit, to be here for my ’special day’. Thank you! LOVE you! ♥
