Came across something…. well…. unusual is the word that comes to mind. The word I cannot come up with to describe how I feel when reading this, I will leave up to all of you readers.
What word perfectly describes how one feels when reading this? (click on the picture to read):

They get furious with us because they feel we raised the most money – so they’re going to go out and raise a bunch of money to overturn our freedom of speech?

What point do they feel they’re going to make by all these postcards, and money raised that could go feed the hungry children ? The money we raised, we knew where it was going: towards an election – for a vote by the people that would either go in our favor or their favor by a fair vote. This money that they’re raising – where is it going? Do they honestly think that President Monson is going to look at all these postcards and say, “Oh dang. Yeah.. yeah, I made a mistake – let’s overturn it. We don’t believe in the Sanctity of the Definition of Marriage anymore.”

But remember, you’ll need to send these postcards to the millions of other people in CA who voted too – as it wasn’t just the LDS people who voted. Also, you’ll need to take your picket party and go and picket the other Church Buildings as it wasn’t just the ‘Mormons’ who raised money + voted. Also, it’s unfair to target ALL ‘Mormons’ as not ALL supported Yes on 8.

Reminder: Isn’t secluding one group of people and targeting them in “h8te” not the true definition of Discrimination and Bigotry ? Just wondering…

Is it possible to be amused and disgusted at the same time?
I a little irritated on President Monson’s behalf, but I think he is such a wonderful man, that he’d probably just offer them forgiveness right away.
I think our best solution is just to pray. The Lord will take care of all the nonsene in his due time. We do what we can, and the Lord takes care of the rest.

every time i read something about all this targeted hatred it makes me want to cry. I would never go to a chruch where to gays or lesbians were “being married” and protest them. I know I would be heartbroken if I was going to the temple to be in peace and protesters where there. it makes me want to cry thinking about it and I have never even set foot in temple yet but i know how much I love it. and i would never do anything that mean or hateful to them. if they want to change the world or america or even just california. Protest there elected government NOT a chruch!

hey! I came back from NH this week so I am trying to catch up on my reading. I left on the 4th (late enough to have a good idea of who would be your new president) so I jad to wait until I got home to have my sister telling me that prop8 passed. I was happy.
Since we have a young man going to California on his mission in a few weeks I am keeping him up on the subject because we just don’t hear about it in France. Or so little that it is just not understandable for people here.
